Plan of the new line of road leading from the Cardigan River to the Hillsborough River. Passes through Lots 51, 52, and 38. Plan copied by Geo. Wright, 12 August, 1837. The plan uses a dashed and dotted line to show the new line of road. Miles are marked off. Types of forest growth are labelled. Names of some residents and their acreage amounts are given. Roads to Georgetown and St. Peter's Bay are also shown. The plan shows rivers and springs. North arrow.

Description
The map shows Lot 30 divided into numbered sub-lots. There are nine different series of sub-lot numbers which are colour-coded according to the map legend. The different colours represent Line Road, Skye, Bonshaw, O.T. Road N.S., O.T. Road S.S., Smelt Creek, Strathgartney, Green Road and Glenfinglas. Roads are shown and they have decorative direction pointers where they meet the neat line boundaries of the map. A small group of Strathgartney sub-lots is outlined in pink and filled in with pink stripes. Water is coloured blue. The maps includes the Northumberland Strait, West River and Rhymney River. Circular cartouche surrounded by legend. North and magnetic north arrows with variation for 1764. Bar scale in chains.
