The map shows parcels of land with the names of owners or occupants and their corresponding numbers of acres handwritten in black ink. Other numerical figures appear on the parcels in black or red ink. Larger divisions of land are outlined in colours according to a legend. The legend designates outline colours for Evans, Cundall, Alice Hyndman, Amy Winsloe, Isabel Winsloe, another Winsloe, Winsloe Clan, E. J. Hodgson, John Winsloe, Smith Est., and Freehold. (Some of the given names are partly obscurred where pieces of the map have fallen off.) Roads are shown. Bodies of water, which include the Hunter River and Wheatley River, are coloured blue.
