The map shows a southern portion of Lot 23 divided into numbered parcels of land with the names of residents and their acreage amounts. Some parcels are coloured green. The map also shows the land divided into three (3) sections: land in the northern-most part of the map is outlined in yellow; the middle part is outlined in red; and the southern part is outlined in blue. The map shows roads in light orange. It shows the Hunter River (labelled River Clyde) in blue, and it shows the locations of damns and mills along the river. The map title is contained in a scroll-shaped cartouche that also contains a line scale in chains.
