Plan of Lot 56 showing the situation of 18,028 acres of land conveyed by T. Heath Haviland and G.W. DeBlois to the Commissioner of Public Lands. The map shows Lot 56 divided into parcels of land with names of residents and their acreage amounts handwritten in black ink. Shows the land transferred by Haviland and DeBlois outlined in yellow. Other parcels are outlined in red. Roads are shown coloured pink. Bodies of water, which include the Little River, Fortune River and Boughton Bay, are outlined or coloured blue. Marsh areas are coloured green and sandy areas are pink with stippling. Compass with north arrow. Bar scale in chains. Decorative hand lettering.
