|
---|---|
Description |
The map shows New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and parts of Quebec and Maine. An inset shows the "City and Harbor of Halifax." Bright colours are used to outline different territories. Faint colours are used to differentiate the counties of the three Maritime provinces, which are all labelled in upper case letters. The main map has a bar scale in miles, and the inset has a line scale in miles. Latitude and longitude values are given around the edges of the map; numbers at the top show longitude measured west from Greenwich, while numbers at the bottom show longitude east from Washington. The map has a decorative border. James W. Macnutt Collection.
