The map shows land parcels, some coloured blue, with the names of owners or occupants handwritten in black ink. On a few parcels, the number of acres is shown. Many parcels do not have names attached to them. Roads are shown. Coastal areas, which include Augustine Cove, Provost Point and Cape Traverse, and bodies of water are outlined in blue. Marsh areas are shaded. This map appears to date from 1870 when Phillips Frankland Irving and his wife sold 928.75 acres in Lot 28 to George W. DeBlois.
